A rural Minnesota man took a couple of interesting photos today and shared them Valley News Live.

He called and asked us if we'd heard about two Canadian military helicopters, that might have been lost.

The man, who didn't want to be identified, and his neighbor watched the wayward birds land and spend about 45 minutes in an open CRP field.

One of the two men walked over and talked to one of the pilots. He says they were just trying to get back into Canada.

The choppers landed about 40 miles south of the border near Florian, Minnesota.

We'll check with the folks up north and let you know what was up or down in this case.
