Body of U.S. Marine from Minnesota coming home

KARLSTAD, Minn. (Valley News Live)- A U.S. Marine from Minnesota that was shot and killed while on duty in the nation’s capital will be remembered Thursday.

Karlstad native Riley Kuznia’s Mom tells us, his body will be arriving in Fargo Thursday night at 10.

Minnesota's governer Tim Walz is asking flags be flown at half-staff from Thursday to Sunday.

Kuznia was killed in the marine barracks on Capitol Hill on January 1st. The circumstances around his death are still being investigated and right now, it’s not being looked at as a homicide.
