Body found in burned Fargo storage unit

Fargo, N.D. (Valley News Live) Police are working to identify a man’s body found in a burned storage unit.

Fire crews were called to 1725 1st Ave. N. Fargo around 2:30 Sunday morning for reports of a fire. When fire fighters arrived, they found smoke coming from a unit on the north end.

Within 10 minutes, the fire was put out and no other unit was affected.

The Fargo Fire Department says it then searched the unit and found a man’s body.

At this time, it’s unknown if the person died in the fire or earlier.

The fire department expects the cost of structural damage to be around $15,000.

No other information is being released.
