Billboard falls in Fargo due to high winds

Winds are so strong in Fargo Thursday morning that is made a billboard along the I-29 exit near the tri-level fall to the ground just before 11.

Crews working in the area say it luckily fell away from the interstate so it didn't cause any traffic backups.

There is no word as to when the billboard will be cleared, but you are asked to use caution when driving in that area in case it falls more.

Meteorologist Lisa Green says during the time of the fall, Fargo saw a 52 mph wind gust.
