Juvenile male taken to hospital after bike vs. SUV crash in West Fargo

West Fargo, N.D. (Valley News Live) UPDATE:

West Fargo Police are saying a juvenile male was struck by a vehicle in the crosswalk of the intersection at 7th St. and 4th Ave. S. The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, the condition and extent of his injuries are unknown.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt. The West Fargo Police Department is continuing to interview witnesses to the crash.

The West Fargo Police Department would like to remind the driving public that summer school is in session, drivers should still be aware near school zones, and summer time bicycle and pedestrian traffic has increased.

It happened Wednesday around noon at 7th St. and 4th Ave. S.

Police tape sectioned off the area while authorities investigated.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is assisting with the accident.
