NBC - If you are having problems sleeping it may be because of light!

Experts at Baylor College say people are naturally more active during the daytime and prone to sleep at night when there is less light.

As a result any presence of light at night can disrupt that pattern making it harder to sleep.

It is recommended that you turn off the TV and computers at least a half hour before you want to fall asleep and make your bedroom is dark as possible.

Experts say it is important to not change your schedule like during the weekends if you are having problems establishing a normal sleeping schedule.
