52nd avenue south roadwork Update

(FARGO) Valley News Live Crews are hard it again after rain delayed roadwork along 52nd avenue south in Fargo. Weekend rain shut down efforts Saturday morning and again on Sunday.
Even a Monday overnight shower impacted an early morning start on Tuesday. But late the same day, it was green light "GO!", with more concrete being poured along a stretch between Veterans Boulevard and 63rd street south...that's the last stretch to be done.
The project manager told Valley News Live that every inch of rain stops work one day and delays work one, possibly two days after that. He says the contractor is spending more money to make sure they can make up lost ground from the rain. They still plan to have work wrapped up by the end of October.
