GRIGGS COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) Two semi drivers from North Dakota had to be airlifted for treatment after a crash sent both of them into the ditch.
A report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened around 4:45 Tuesday afternoon about 7 miles west of Hannaford.
Officials say the two semis were both hauling hopper trailers, and they were driving on a road where visibility was reduced due to dust in the air.
Both drivers, 29-year-old Taylor Rose of Wimbledon and 60-year-old Patrick Kraemer of McHenry, had to be taken by ambulance to a Cooperstown Hospital. Kraemer was later taken to a Fargo hospital by Sanford LifeFlight, Rose was taken to a Grand Forks hospital by Valley Med Flight.
