FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- Two more intersections will close starting Thursday as part of the 52nd Avenue South Reconstruction Project. The intersections are 63rd Street to Veterans Blvd and 52nd avenue south will be closed.
Valley News Live was told 52nd Avenue will stay open from west of the Veterans Blvd intersection to rocking horse road.
This will ensure access to businesses and residential areas.
"You know that stretch between those two intersections eventually so we can reconstruct, but that's going to be a little later on once we kind of get some of these intersections redone," said City of Fargo Public Works Division Engineer Kevin Gorder. "They got to be careful how much they close, and we still got to maintain access to businesses so until they can get something rebuilt here."
Gorder adds work along 52nd Avenue is expected to continue until mid-August before school starts.
