Authorities in northwest North Dakota say a teenager led officers on a chase in his mother's car.
Williams County authorities say the chase happened Wednesday morning around 1.
A deputy initiated a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Highway 2 after spotting a car driving without headlights on.
The driver, a 14-year-old who had taken her mother's vehicle, refused to stop.
The Sheriff's office says the chase ended in the area of 34th Street West when the juvenile took a corner too harshly and went off the road.
No one was hurt.
The 14-year-old will be cited into juvenile court.
