Purses for a Purpose, raising money for Parkinson's

(North Dakota Today) - Over 200,000 people are diagnosed with Parkinson's disease each year.

Parkinson's often starts with a tremor in one hand. Other symptoms are slow movement, stiffness, and loss of balance. Medications can help control the symptoms of Parkinson's, but research is needed to try and help those still struggling.

This Thursday, January 10th and Friday the 11th you can go shopping to help the cause! Purses for a Purpose will be open to the public at the Lincoln Park Clubhouse in Grand Forks on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00-2:00 p.m.
