Local singer writes song to honor his Minnesota hometown

(North Dakota Today) - Originally from Stewartville, Minnesota, Aaron Simmons is a country and folk singer-songwriter that has a passion for performing live and invoking feelings through his original lyrics.

He has traveled all across Minnesota and North Dakota playing solo, acoustic shows for the past three years. In 2018, he played a total of 51
shows in 20 different cities.

Now living in Fargo, ND, he leads a six-piece band under his own name that has opened for Scotty McCreery, Parmalee, The Johnny Holm Band, 32 Below, 4onthefloor, Pert Near Sandstone, Lost Highway, Tigirlily, JT & the Gunslingers, and Hitchville in the last calendar year. Making music is his labor of love, but being able to share his original music is his biggest passion.
