Herdina Academy for Construction Trades

(Fargo, ND) -- The Herdina Academy for Construction Trades is giving high school students 15 and older the chance to learn more about the construction industry. Students will be working side by side with professionals to learn the ins and outs of what they really do.

The Herdina Academy will be at Minnesota State Community and Technical College. There will be multiple workshops set in place for students, where they will get hands on experience.

The academy is set for two weeks, June 3rd through June 7th and June 10th through the 14th. Once they complete the program, students may earn high school credit and/or M State will transcript three college credits (BLDG 1100 Basic Principles of Residential and Commercial Construction) to the student’s academic record.

Scholarships will be available to academy graduates pursuing construction-related fields at M StateMoorhead or North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton.
