Cass Co. warns residents in flood risk areas to monitor changing conditions

By  |

Cass County is telling residents in flood risk areas to watch and monitor changing conditions due to river levels and overland flooding.

The County Highway and Sheriff’s officials have responded to four overnight and early morning residential requests for emergency sandbag deliveries, just in the past three days.

County officials will respond to these emergencies 24 hours-a-day, but they said it is much safer and quicker to deliver sandbags during daylight hours.

Residents who suspect they may need sandbags are urged to take action and contact the Cass County Flood Hotline at 701-241-8000.
