Jack Wallace is from Atlanta, GA and yes, is still getting used to the cold. He went to Texas Christian University (go frogs) where he earned a degree in Journalism in May 2021, then to Syracuse University (go orange) where he earned his master's in Broadcast Journalism in May 2022.
Jack's broadcast career began in Atlanta, where he called his high school's (Pace Academy) basketball and football games throughout his junior and senior years, as well as earning letters on the Track & Field team over his four years. In Syracuse, he hosted the sports segment on "Mornings on the Hill" and made both news and sports packages covering Syracuse men's basketball and at the 2022 NCAA Men's Final Four in New Orleans, LA.
His main background is in photography, where he shot TCU and Syracuse athletics, as well as one of the only student photographers to ever shoot an XFL football game and the Big 12 Men's Tennis Tournament. Jack also was invited by NCAA photos for a photo workshop at the 2022 Final Four. He also covered Syracuse men's basketball at Duke, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Georgetown, and the 2022 Jimmy V Classic game in Madison Square Garden, and every home Syracuse football game including their game at Louisville where Lamar Jackson had his college jersey retirement.
Jack's favorite things to do in his free time are 100% completing video games, going out with his film camera, and stressing about fantasy football.
He joined the Valley News Live team in July 2022, and he's thrilled to cover all the exciting football teams plus learn lots more about hockey.
