Vehicle Crash in Fargo Apartment Building Leaves Occupant Injured

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - UPDATE (5:52 PM, 5/29): The crash occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. in the 2700 block of 36th Avenue South, resulting in an occupant of the apartment building being injured.

The driver, identified as 26-year-old Jorge Luis Sosa Sanchez of Fargo, mistakenly drove his vehicle into the side of a unit within the building while it was occupied.

Following the incident, the injured occupant was examined at the scene by Ambulance personnel. The individual was transported to a local healthcare facility by a friend, whose injuries remain unknown at this time.

According to reports, Mr. Sanchez stated that he confused the accelerator with the brake.

Due to his operation of the vehicle leading to bodily injury of another person, reckless endangerment charges are expected to be filed.

Authorities are still assessing the extent of the damage caused by the crash, and damage estimates are pending.

ORIGINAL STORY -Authorities were called to Flagstone Apartments on 36th Ave S. in Fargo after a car crashed into the building.

Authorities are investigating what caused the crash.
