UPDATE: Jackknifed semi sends woman to the hospital

MAHNOMEN COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) - A woman is expected to be okay after authorities say her vehicle collided with a semi.
It happened at around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, on Highway 59 at milepost 297 in Mahnomen.
Minnesota State Patrol says a semi that was northbound jackknifed across the road and a Ford Escape was heading southbound when the vehicles collided.
Authorities say the semi driver, 32-year-old Brandon Aaron Madden, was not hurt. They also say 67-year-old Carol Delia Geray was the driver of the Ford. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Roads were snowy/icy at the time of the crash. The incident prompted a temporary closure of the road.
