FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - North Dakota and Minnesota are among the 21 states with confirmed cases of avian influenza.

The avian influenza infects both commercial and backyard poultry as well as limits egg supply.

A dozen eggs is now going for $2.88 in many places across the U.S.

This is up 52% since the first confirmed case of bird flu in February.
