FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Fargo Fire investigators say a string of overnight dumpster fires is suspicious. Firefighters responded to five dumpster fires in three separate locations.

The first call came just before 11:00 Tuesday night at 2215 18th Street South, which is near F-M Ambulance. About a half hour later, firefighters responded to three dumpsters on fire at 1102 22nd Street South, which is at an apartment complex. Another fire call around the same time at 1325 25th Street South.

Officials say damage at all three locations was limited to the dumpsters.

Fargo Police Sgt. Mike Bernier says the dumpster fires are likely related, however, they are unsure if the arson of a house Tuesday night is related to the dumpster fires.

Sgt. Bernier also confirms that these fires do not appear to be related to the strip mall fire on May 11 along 32nd Avenue and 25th Street.

All of these arson reports are being investigated in collaboration with the Fargo Fire Department. Anyone with information or surveillance footage in the area is encouraged to call investigations at 701.241.1405. Tips may be submitted with keyword FARGOPD to 847411.
