Disaster simulation happening at Hector Airport
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - If you see emergency crews rushing to Hector International Airport Wednesday morning, no need to be alarmed, crews will conduct a full-scale disaster simulation.
The airport says it will start around 10 a.m. and the scenario is an airplane carrying 62 passengers and four crew members that crash upon landing.
The simulation is expected to go until the afternoon.
This is part of an FAA requirement to provide first responders an opportunity to exercise responses.
