NWS: Earthquake shakes South Dakota Friday morning
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Valley News Live) - The National Weather Service out of Sioux Falls is reporting an earthquake shook parts of South Dakota on Friday morning.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. in southern Gregory and Charles Mix Counties. The weather service posted about it on Facebook and people are commenting on what they felt. One person says their house shook, another said it was like a large sonic boom. Someone in northeast Minnehaha County says they also felt shaking.
