FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -

A 23-year-old man is in custody after leading troopers on a high-speed chase along I-94 in North Dakota Thursday night.

The arrest came near mile marker 340, which is near Casselton. The chase was said to begin in Jamestown, where the accused, 23-year-old Alexander Holbrook, was trying out a car for sale and took off. The owner of the vehicle reported it stolen when Holbrook didn’t return.

The pursuit lasted for about an hour, and at one point, authorities were reporting speeds of 120 mph in the Jamestown area. No one was hurt and several law enforcement agencies were involved.

Holbrook is from Great Falls, Montana. He’s facing several charges including fleeing, reckless endangerment, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving under revocation.
