BARNESVILLE, MINN. (Valley News Live) - UPDATE: Crews are investigating the cause of a house fire, in Barnesville, Minn Wednesday morning.

Fire officials say no one was injured and the family was able to get out of the house safely.

The house is considered a total loss.

ORIGINAL: Crews are on the scene of a massive house fire in Barnesville.

Dispatch says the call for the blaze came in around 3:25 Wednesday morning to the 1100 block of Main Ave. E.

Scanner traffic indicates fire crews are closing 11th St. to work on the fire.

It’s unknown at this time if the intense lightning in that area started the fire.

Scanner traffic also indicates the Barnesville Fire Department is requesting help from the Dilworth Fire Department.
