More Vaccines Required for Minnesota Schools

Posted: Updated:

Minnesota parents might want to double check and see if their kids are up-to-date on their shots.

For the first time in more than a decade, children across the state are required to have additional immunizations starting September 1st.

Seventh graders now must get the Menigococcal Vaccine and an addition Whooping Cough booster.

And younger children in daycare and early-childhood programs must get Hepatitis A and B shots.
