North Dakota State Patrol responded to a car crash late Tuesday night along Interstate 94 near Casselton.

Troopers say Eugene Quinnett was going the wrong way in the eastbound lane for nearly 12 miles before losing control of his car near exit 343.

State patrol received several concerned calls from other drivers on the road. The first call came in shortly after 10:30 p.m.

Troopers say Quinnett was taken by ambulance to Essentia Hospital for unknown injuries. Luckily no one else was hurt.

Quinnett was arrested for DUI and could face additional charges depending what officials find in the investigation.
