F-M Pride Parade brings more than 600 participants marching along Broadway

Posted: Updated:
FARGO, N.D. -- As North Dakota same-sex couples wait for a change to the state's legal definition of marriage, more F-M Pride festivities continued with people hitting the streets of downtown.

The Valley's LGBT community celebrated the strides they've made in their fight for equality. Hundreds flooded downtown along Broadway to show their color and support for friends and family in a parade.

This has been the largest parade yet with 100 more participants than last year.

"It's perfect, it's family,” said supporter BJ Armani. “This is a whole community; it's everybody that's out here. It's the fact that we are a collective, we are here and we love each other ridiculously."

Pride weekend continued Sunday night at Side Street Grille and Pub for a 21 plus after party.
