Crash on I-29 in North Fargo

Posted: Updated:
Emergency crews responded to a crash on I-29 in north Fargo Friday morning.

It happened near the 7th Avenue overpass in the northbound lanes around 7:15 a.m.

North Dakota State Patrol Officers say a call came in that a car bumper was in the middle of the interstate. By time officers got out there, a utility truck lost control and spun out into the middle lane. Another car hit it head-on.

One driver was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Trooper Kristjan Helgoe say it's another reason to always pay attention on the road.

"On you morning commute be always looking out in front of traffic, be prepared for cars with break lights on, so you can slow down properly in time," says Helgoe.

One car was totaled, at this time there are no charges. The crash is still under investigation. The crash backed up traffic during the morning rush hour but has been cleared.
