Two People Arrested on Red Lake Reservation in Connection with 11 Burglaries

Posted: Updated:
Law enforcement officials have caught two people on the Red Lake Reservation believed to be involved in over 11 burglaries in the past month.

Deputies say Brandon Howard and Holly Johnson have been stealing from seasonal cabins and empty homes around several townships including Roosevelt, Benville, Shooks, Spruce, Minnie and Bemidji Townships.

So far Howard and Johnson are facing charges in Koochiching County. Beltrami County Investigators will be presenting cases to the Beltrami County Attorney's Office for review of additional charges once all the victims of the Beltrami Burglaries have been contacted.

A follow-up investigation by Beltrami County Sheriff's Investigators and a Red Lake Police Investigator lead to the recovery of many of the items stolen in the burglaries.

But Beltrami County investigators are asking people to check their homes for signs of burglary and if you find something call police.
