Kids Summer Camps

Posted: Updated:
Before the start of the school year some parents may be looking for summer programs for their kids. Through out the valley there are still plenty of ways to get your kids involved in classes and camps.

Family Wellness in Fargo is holding a few more summer programs for kids. Camp Summer Splash is a full day camp and a fun way for kids to get involved in a number of water activities. Swimming, diving and making waves is what kids will learn while having fun with new friends. It's for ages 6-11 and runs August 11th-15th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members can sign up for $175 and non-members of Family Wellness can register for $195.

Right now kids are learning how to have a green thumb thanks to the youth gardening program. Through the summer kids have learned how to plant, grow and cook vegetables. Organizers say it's something you can do at home with your kids to help learn where food comes from.

Looking for something for the kids just for an hour? They can work on their football and volleyball skills at Family wellness in August.
