Pink Equipment to be Auctioned For Breast Cancer Awareness

Posted: Updated:
Don't be surprised if you see large pink equipment on the Red River Valley Fairgrounds.  ACME Tools is donating a JLG 400S Telescopic Boom Lift for the Steffes-Algron Auction this Wednesday at the fairgrounds.

It's painted light pink in support of breast cancer awareness. In fact, all of the proceeds raised from this week's auction will go to the Breast Cancer Awareness Association. It's happening on July 30 at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo.

The boom lift is painted light pink, the internationally recognized color of the pink ribbon that is the official symbol of breast cancer awareness.

"Acme Tools is proud to support the Breast Cancer Awareness Association," said Dan Kuhlman, president and CEO of Acme Tools. "The organization's annual education conference in October fulfills a crucial need for breast health information."

Acme Tools has 10 retail stores in North Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. The company also owns and operates Acme Rents, Acme Equipment and Dakota Fastening. More information is available online at AcmeTools.com
