MN DFL Kicks Off "100 Days of Action"

Posted: Updated:
Democrats across Minnesota are getting a head start in their campaigning season.

Sunday kicked off Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party's "100 Days of Action."

In Moorhead, Representative Ben lien for District 4-A and around 20 volunteers rallied to get a leg-up on their campaign.

Volunteers prepared to knock on doors around the community and also had crews on the phone to raise awareness early by interacting with voters and showing them how easy voting can be.

"We need to get out, get motivated, get charged up, hit the doors, get on the phones and let people know what DFL has done, what Governor Mark Dayton has done these last two years," Rep. Lien said.

Election season normally begins on Labor Day but there is a primary election August 12th.
