BMX Racing Growing In Grand Forks

Posted: Updated:
Looking for a little excitement of dirt, speed and energy? The Red River BMX track in Grand Forks suggest coming to their races.

For nearly 20 years Red River BMX has been holding races for riders of all ages and skill levels. Every Wednesday night is race night at the track, riders can register and warm up from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., then the races start at 7 p.m.

President of the race track Ron Martin says it's not only a great individual sport for kids, but it can be fun for the whole family. Spectators can watch the races for free, so all family and friends are invited to come cheer on their favorite rider.

Our very own Valley Today's Kristi Larson and Photographer Norman Bell tried the track. They said although it is a challenge, it was a fun experience.

The dirt track is located at 6950 Gateway Drive, Grand Forks North Dakota. To visit Red River BMX web page click here. For the Red River BMX Facebook page click here.
