Changes Coming To The 19th Ave. & 25th. St. Construction Zones

Posted: Updated:
Some changes are coming to two busy construction zones in Fargo.

19th Avenue

There are no two-ways about it.

It's going to be a mess to get around North Fargo.

The 19th Avenue North re-construction that has snarled and slowed traffic this summer is going to take another turn.

The good news is, crews are going to start paving that stretch between 10th Street and University Drive.

The bad news is, travel through there during the paving operation is going to be even worse.

You can expect long delays and frequent stops.

Houston engineering tells Valley News Live that stretch should be back open to traffic in the first or second week of August.

Then they plan to move to the south side of 19th.

The project should be fully completed by the end of October.

25TH Street

More changes today on one of the biggest summer road construction projects in the Fargo area.

More detours are now in place on 25th Street South.

Part of the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 25th Street is shut down.

And drivers are being detoured west on 23rd Avenue South.

Some good news: the intersection of 25th Street and 20th Avenue South will likely re-open tomorrow (Wednesday).
