Hotel Guest Stabbed in Chest at Bismarck Hotel

Posted: Updated:
A North Dakota man is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing someone outside a Bismarck hotel early Saturday morning.

Police say they got a call around 6:30am from the Budget Inn about a man screaming at hotel room door, then going through someone's car in the parking lot.

A hotel guest confronted the man -- that's when police say the victim was stabbed once in the chest.

The suspect would not comply with officers to drop his weapon, so they ended up tazing him.

The 37-year-old Bismarck man was arrested for attempted murder.
