Posted: Updated:
Looking for a fun family activity to get outside and get moving? The first of the two StreetsAlive events is happening this Sunday, July 13th.

The Fargo-Moorhead community is encouraged to use any human powered mode of transportation while enjoying many side activities as well. Anything from skateboards to pogo sticks can be found at this lively event!

Three miles of city streets and park paths will be blocked off from traffic for those attending. Rory Beil the Director of Cass Clay Alive says they expect around 8,000 people to participate. Beil added these two events are to inspire activity to do 365 days of the year.

In Downtown Fargo there will be demonstrations of pole vaulting, fencing and gymnastics. You can also join in on the fun of outdoor yoga or compete in the slow bike races.

At Davy Memorial Park in Moorhead there will be healthy food vendors, healthy living exhibitors and a farmers market.
