Guidance Aviation of Prescott, AZ Sponsoring Private Viewings of Disney's New Movie Planes: Fire and Rescue to Support Wildland Firefighters Foundation

Prescott Valley, AZ (PRWEB) July 09, 2014

Two Wildland Firefighter Foundation benefits will be taking place in July 2014 to benefit our Wildland Firefighters nationally. The benefits are private screenings of the new Disney movie Planes: Fire and Rescue. The first takes place on July 20th at 6:30pm at Harkins Theater in Prescott Valley, AZ. The second benefit takes place on July 27th at 6:30pm at Harkins Theater in Sedona, AZ.

Both events are sponsored by Guidance Aviation of Prescott, AZ Guidance has purchased 299 tickets at the Prescott Valley benefit and 148 tickets at the Sedona benefit to assist local benefit hosts Diane Travis and Anessa Andrews to raise funds for the Wildland Firefighters Foundation.

The Disney Movie "Planes: Fire and Rescue" focuses on the wildland firefighting community. The support group, Spouses and Partners of Wildland Firefighters has partnered with Disney and movie theaters around the country for private showings of the film with proceeds going to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Everyone is invited. All ticket sales will go directly to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families. This is a national effort supporting firefighters throughout the country.

"If you want to support them (Wildland Firefighters Foundation), then I guarantee you're supporting us," stated Incident Commander, Carpenter 1 Wildland Firefighters.

"As the wife of a career wildland firefighter, I believe in what the Wildland Firefighter Foundation does for the families of fallen and injured wildland firefighters across the country. I couldn't think of a better way to support a foundation that I truly believe in while going out and having fun with the family," states Diane Travis, Prescott event host.

Tickets will be available at the event, but get your tickets early as seating is limited. All pre-purchased tickets will be handed out the day of the event starting at 5pm at the theater. Refer to the event links below for more event info or to purchase tickets.
