Hard Charge Ceases Operation, Cancels all Events

Posted: Updated:

Hard Charge announced on Thursday that they are ceasing all operations, canceling all current and future events.  The Hard Charge web site is completely shutdown with the exception of a statement,

"After much thought and analysis into our situation, and exploring realistic options to continue operations, it is with much regret that Hard Charge is providing notice that it is immediately ceasing all business operations. There is no longer staff, systems or contact information in place to support customer service or ongoing operations.  Hard Charge is filing its Notice of Intent to Dissolve with the appropriate authorities."

The statement goes on to say that due to the current financial situation, Hard Charge is unable to provide refunds to any athlete who has registered for an event.

"Our senior secured lender has a legal right to the vast majority of our remaining assets, including our accounts, making refunds impossible," the statement says.

Hard Charge concludes by thanking the athletes, customers, fans and business partners who have supported the events. Nearly 2,000 people packed the Red River Valley Fairgrounds just three weeks ago for the Fargo Hard Charge event. The June 14 event was the second time Hard Charge made a stop in the valley, this year benefiting the Children's Miracle Network.
