Posted: Updated:

UPDATE

An update to a story we told you last week about a 92-year old woman that was hit by a truck in Valley City.   Rita Weber died Monday afternoon from injuries she sustained in the accident.

Valley city police are still investigating this case.  The driver of the truck, 32-year-old Robert Middleider, says he didn't see Weber walking when he was turning the corner of a Valley City street.

Police say neither alcohol nor speed was a factor in the accident. Mittleider was issued a citation for Failure to Yield the Right of Way to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk.
