Mudslide Threatens Minneapolis Hospital

Posted: Updated:
One of the saturated hills along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis collapsed Thursday night near the Fairview Riverside Hospital.

Heavy rains created the mudslide that left about 6 to 8 feet of dirt and tree debris piled up on West River Parkway.

The first reports of the collapse began to come in just before 8 p.m. Thursday.

Officials have not reported any injuries but there are concerns the mudslide could threaten the buildings above.
