MN Man Hospitalized After Being Set on Fire

(KARE 11 TV) ANDOVER, Minn. - One person has been taken to an area hospital with burns after a fire at a home in Andover on Tuesday night.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office received a report of a fire in the 1300 block of 137th Lane Northwest at about 9:30 p.m. When crews arrived they found a man who they discovered had been set on fire. The victim was transported to a local hospital. Authorities would not discuss the extent of his injuries.

They said there was a small fire still burning in the bedroom, which was quickly extinguished.

No one else was injured. Overnight authorities said a 29-year-old man was arrested and booked into the St. Louis County jail.
