Fargo Police believe an angry ex is behind a deck fire at an apartment complex over the weekend. An arrest warrant was issued on Monday, and around 4:15 p.m. 31-year-old Aaron Brice Rogers was arrested in Moorhead without incident.

Police filed charges of arson, terrorizing, and criminal trespass against Rogers. They believe he started his ex-wife's apartment deck on fire during the early morning hours Sunday, June 15. When t
he Fargo Fire department arrived, they saw a small fire on the deck and were able to distinguish it before damage was done to the interior of the building.

Prior to the incident, Rogers had threatened his ex-wife that he would "napalm" her apartment. Later that day, at approximately 10 p.m., officers were called to the same address for a possible burglary, where Roger's ex-wife stated she saw Rogers inside her apartment.  Rogers had fled the scene prior to officer's arrival.

Rogers has not been arrested yet.  If you have any information as to his whereabouts, contact your local law enforcement.

ORIGINAL STORY
A fire broke out in the early morning hours on Sunday at a Fargo apartment complex.  The small fire started on the second floor balcony of an apartment at 3524 28th Avenue South.

Crews put it out quickly, so the damage was contained to the outside of the building. No one was inside at the time.
Fire crews are still looking into how the fire started, but they did find that the fire alarms were disabled and not working.

They're reminding you to check your fire detectors, just to play it safe.
