Posted: Updated:
A worker is recovering after having to be rescued from a grain elevator tunnel in Casselton.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office says the employee was working at Maple River Grain and Agronomy in Casselton when he was injured by a falling object.

It happened at around eight Saturday morning.

Responders say it was a difficult rescue because the worker was in a tunnel that was only accessible by ladder.

The employee was transported to a Fargo hospital by ambulance.
