Inaugural Session Featured Co-Founders of Imperium Capital, Daniel Glaser and Samuel Schneider

NEW YORK, June 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The inaugural session of the Speakers' Series at NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate was a major success. The event, hosted by graduate student Grant Palermo, took place on June 9th.

Each session of the series brings notable real estate professionals to NYU's campus to share anecdotes, personal stories, perspectives on real estate investing and other relevant industry trends to a diverse student audience.

Daniel Glaser and Samuel Schneider, co-founders and managing partners of Imperium Capital, participated in the kickoff event which drew many students studying at the institute. Imperium Capital is a real estate investment and development company specializing in the acquisition of commercial, retail and multi-family properties.

Glaser and Schneider had an engaging Q&A discussion focused on their backgrounds, how they started their thriving firm and the lessons they learned along the way. The session was moderated by Palermo and was followed by a dynamic Q&A and meet-and-greet.

"The success of this first event shows the importance of bringing industry professionals to campus to discuss their careers and give advice," said Palermo. "I am thankful that Daniel and Samuel provided such valuable insight into their careers and the industry and I look forward to hosting additional sessions in the series this summer."
