|Hour By Hour Forecast|
DISCUSSION: Tonight will be mostly clear and cool with lows bottoming out in the upper 30s to mid 40s across the area and winds will be relatively light primarily out of the south and southwest. For Tuesday, expect more sunshine, some southwesterly breezes and highs a bit warmer than today, with afternoon temperatures rising into the 60s and low 70s. A warming trend continues right into the weekend and our next chance for rain & thunderstorms returns later Thursday and into Friday. By Sunday, we could see temperatures once again close to 80. Our overall pattern will be heavily influenced by a strong ridge of high pressure over the western USA over the next several days. This will help block most weather-making systems. While we will see more precipitation late week, it appears that September will harbor some milder weather over the last half of the month.
