Posted: Updated:
Families are invited out for a weekend full of food, parades and fun for the 55th Annual Hawley Rodeo Fest. It's a time that will bring people together from all around the Red River Valley to end both Friday and Saturday night with the PRCA Barnes Rodeo.

Friday evening at the Hawley Community Center there is a Pitchfork Steak Fondue from 4-7 p.m. Then the Rodeo show starts at 7 p.m.

Rodeo organizers say advanced family tickets can be purchased until noon on Friday for the shows.

Saturday is a whole day of fun planned for both kids and adults. Starting at 8 a.m. is registration for the HERT 5K Walk/Run at Hawley High School. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. anyone can enjoy walking around near City Hall for the Hawley Street Fair. Kids will love walking in the Kiddie Parade starting at 3 p.m.

But what many people will be visiting the Hawley Rodeo for is the PRCA Barnes Rodeo which starts again at 7 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.
