U.S. Attorney General Heads to Bismarck

Posted: Updated:
Its been over fifty years since a sitting U.S. Attorney General has visited North Dakota, but Thursday that will change.

Eric Holder will visit Bismarck to deliver remarks at the 4th annual Tribal Consultation Conference at United Tribes Technical College Thursday at 2:00 PM.

U.S. Attorney Tim Purdon says his office is excited to welcome Holder to North Dakota. The last time a Attorney General visited was when Robert Kennedy came in 1963 and gave his historic speech to the National Congress on American Indians.

The event is at the James Henry Community Center, United Tribes Technical College and is hosted by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of North Dakota.
