Bail Set for Wahpeton Armed Robbery Suspect Who Turned Himself In

Bail was set at $20,000 for a man who turned himself into police after a robbery at a Wahpeton, ND convenience store.

Police say Andres Olveda gave details of the robbery after turning himself in last week.

Officers say they also found evidence of the hold-up at Olveda's motel room.

Moorhead Officers have arrested a man who confessed to robbing a Wahpeton N.D. gas station at gun point.

Officers say they were called to the Grand Inn Motel around 9:00 p.m. Thursday night to talk with Andres Olveda who wished to turn himself in. 
Police say the 31-year-old Moorhead man gave a detailed account of the robbery and based on the confession as well as the evidence he has been arrested and is at the Clay County Jail facing charges of armed robbery. 

The robbery happened on Thursday about 2:30 a.m. at the Tesoro on the 210 Bypass in Wahpeton. 

Investigators say Olveda showed the clerk a gun and got away with an undetermined amount of money.
