Wisconsin Man Killed in Barnes County Rollover Identified

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a man killed in a rollover in Barnes County on Monday morning. Timothy Stark, a 58-year-old from Wausau, Wisconsin, died when he missed a curve, over-corrected and rolled his Ford Expedition.

It happened around 3:00 a.m. on Monday on Highway 32 near Fingal, North Dakota. Troopers say Stark was not wearing his seatbelt and died of his injuries sustained in the crash.

A Wisconsin man has died following a crash in Barnes County early Monday morning.  The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened on Highway 32 near Fingal, North Dakota, around 3:00 a.m.

Troopers say the 58-year-old man from Wausau, Wisconsin was going north on Highway 32 approximately ten miles south of Interstate-94. While going around a curve, the
Ford expedition he was driving crossed the southbound lane and partially drove off the west shoulder. The driver tried to get back on the road but over-corrected. The vehicle slid sideways into the east ditch and rolled.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Barnes County Ambulance Service responded and the victim was taken to Mercy Hospital in Valley City.
