A busy line-up of road work for the Valley, several portions of roads will be closed starting Monday morning.

Crews will close the intersection of 24th Avenue South and South 34th Street so they can put in a roundabout. The project should last until the middle of August.

A paving project will take over 47th Avenue South from South Washington to South Middle School. Drivers will be detoured along South 20th Street until the end of August. The Columbia Road overpass will be pushed down to one lane in each direction. Crews need to make some routine repairs. Work here goes to the end of the month.

You'll want to plan ahead this morning if you take I-94 between Fargo and Moorhead, crews plan to start maintenance work on the bridge over the Red River. Drivers will be shifted to the left lanes in both directions today and be shifted to the right lanes tomorrow. Crews plan to work from 9 AM to 4 PM on both days. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says drivers should expect delays as crews look for any deterioration that could have happened to the road over the winter months.  

Crews will begin paving work and road repairs in downtown Fargo on 1st Avenue South from Broadway to 4th Street, Monday. The road will remain open but congestion is expected. 

Bishops Boulevard in Fargo, will be closed starting today from 52nd Avenue to 56th Avenue for the repair of an expansion joint. The project is expected to take approximately a week to complete.
