"Not only does community support enable us to provide the critical mental and behavioral health services children and families need, it sends the powerful message that Detroit's children and families matter." Debora Matthews, President & CEO of The Children's Center.

More than 7,500 children and families residing in Greater Detroit receive services from The Children's Center annually. The organization has specialized in providing quality mental and behavioral health services for children and families for nearly 85 years. In recent months they've expanded their services to children and families on the Autism spectrum in Wayne County by 200% on their midtown Detroit campus. Additionally they provide early childhood education to nearly three hundred 3 – 5 year old children through a Head Start Academy located in Northwest Detroit.
